The Neret
Museum

The Macedonian village of Neret is about 16 kilometres from the town
of Lerin/ Florina in South Macedonia/northwest Greece. The village has
a small museum displaying some of its traditional costumes, home and
kitchen wares, agricultural tools, wooden machinery, handicrafts and
other interesting objects. The museum is housed in the old school building
on the hill behind the main church in the centre of the village. If
you are in the village or nearby it is well worth a visit. Access is
by asking a local who can arrange to have it opened. Admission is free.
Below are photographs of some of the museum's displays.
