Autumn in Ohrid 2022

The town of Ohrid in the south western part of the Republic of Macedonia is a beautiful and popular summer holiday city. The United Nations says Ohrid is one of the oldest human settlements in Europe, and the Lake Ohrid region is an extensive UNESCO World Heritage site both for its nature conservation values and for its cultural heritage values. These photos are mostly of Lake Ohrid. There are also photos of Tsar Samuel's Fortress, the Monastery of Saint Naum, the Church of Saints Clement and Panteleimon, and a few of the many other beautiful places in Ohrid.
