Kacharov Petre
Petre Kacharov was born in the Lerin village of Ovchareni
in 1924. He joined DAG in May 1947. He participated
in many battles in Lerin and because of his strength
and his military capabilities he was able to rise to
the rank of lieutenant. Petre served for a long time
in the sabotage unit in the headquarters of DAG and
was recognized among his peers for his bravery and decisiveness.
He died in February 1949 in the battle for Lerin. He
was awarded a bravery medal and a medal for his outstanding
sabotage work.
