Cigulevski Vasil
He was born in the village of Bapchor, Kostur region,
to a poor village family. He left his wife and small
children and joined the partisan movement as early as
1946. In that movement he was one of the most active
and responsible partisans and operated as group political
commissar in all of the struggles.
In 1947 a decision was made by the Headquarters of
the partisan units in Vich to attack the village of
Neveska. The battle succeeded and when the partisans
were pulling out, a small group had to stay behind to
assist the pull out operation. Vasil Cigulevski took
on that task with honour. But in that battle he was
badly wounded and died in the arms of one of his comrades.
